DisClean
DISCLEAN is a cationic cleaning agent designed to remove water stains and organic residues from nickel optical media masters and stampers.
DISCLEAN may be used to effectively
remove water stains that may occur during normal post-galvanic processing and handling.
Using cationic bonding, DISCLEAN first dissolves, then complexes ionized water molecules
that may otherwise result in read-back errors and distortion after replication.
DISCLEAN may be used at any time to remove organic residues left by protective coatings to insure optimum data transfer from nickel to polycarbonate. Stampers showing high E22 and E32 errors as a result of these residues are usually restored to specification by simply washing with DISCLEAN.
